Ave Maria (Video)

For those who don’t know, Luciano Pavarotti died this week. The day before he died, I said his name “out of the blue” to a fellow worker.  Mentioning that I did not have any Pavarotti to play for a webcast. This is a sung version of the “Hail Mary” prayer- In Latin.

Beautiful, positively! And to think Pavarotti can now sing the Ave Maria with the angels to Mary in heaven.

Pavarotti’s art was not just with his voice, he also knew the art of showing great love for his fans and making fans of those who knew nothing of his art. Pavarotti was a gift to us all. God needed him to do a command performance for HIM , a hymn of course.May PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON him.

Did you cry too mother when you heard your son Lucien honor you with this Hymn? May Lucien rest in your arms with her Beloved Son Jesus this day.

Love to all who listen with their hearts.

I always think that music is a little of heaven that escaped and is with us on earth till we get up there and hear the rest. Lovely to listen to Pavarotti’s ‘Ave Maria’ – few can sing it well.

Luciano used his God given talents in so many ways…and most importantly he gave praise and thanksgiving to God
and the Blessed Mother (this the day we celebrate her Birthday….Sept 8th) with his beautiful voice with countless performances over many years…..what a gift for us all…..

  14. Juanita Young says:

What a blessing to be able to see this video and hear “Ave Maria” being sung by the great Luciano Pavarotti on this feast of Our Blessed Virgin’s birthday! How I caught my breath and felt such joy in my heart as Luciano delivered this prayer of praise so magnificently! It seemed as if the heavens had come to earth and joined us in veneration of our Mother on her day! What talent God bestowed upon Luciano was granted for the benefit of all mankind. How graciously he shared the joy of his sublime gift, allowing us, through his efforts, to feel as if we prayed with the angels! May God have mercy upon his soul and may the angels swiftly carry him to meet the Blessed Mother who surely has a soft spot in her heart for him, and Jesus, our Divine Savior!

  16. The Cukierski Family says:

Pavarotti was one of the most “magnificent” talents.
Hearing him sing the Ave Maria has always seemed like listening in on Heaven.
    May he rest in peace.

  17. Loretta MacDonald says:

His voice was truly an instrument of God. Can you imagine the Angels joining Pavarotti in Heaven singing the Ava Maria. Oooooh even “Our Blessed Mother” must have got a lump in her throat listening to it. Eternal rest grant onto him O Lord…
